Dr. Nasrin Sadeghi
Dr. Nasrin Sadeghi was an associate dentist in the Boston area for ten years before she opened her own practice in 2007. Dr. Sadeghi started First Dental Associates out of a desire to ensure top-quality dental care with compassionate service for her patients. Her passion is improving her patients’ confidence by allowing them to smile more.
She attended Boston University’s Goldman School of Dentistry from 1992-1996. After school, Dr. Sadeghi honed her skills and learned the dentistry business by observing and working with top dental professionals over the next ten years before opening her own practice.
Dr. Sadeghi has continued her education throughout her career. She attended a weeklong international symposium on implantology, and she has special training in Invisalign, Lumineers, and Snap-On Smile. She is committed to staying abreast of the latest developments in modern dentistry by studying journal articles and books and by regularly attending dental seminars.
As a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Massachusetts Dental Society, Dr. Sadeghi stays active in the larger dental health care community. She also supports her local community by contributing to several local and national charities, including Give Back a Smile, the Oral Cancer Foundation, and School on Wheels. Aside from providing quality dentistry to her community, Dr. Sadeghi enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
Dr. Medha Singh
Dr. Medha Singh attended Government Dental College in India, where she earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree. She then attended Tufts University, where she earned her Master of Science degree, Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, and Certificate of Advanced Education Program in Periodontology. She was also honored with a Fellowship in Oral Implantology from Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Harvard University.
Dr. Singh continued at Harvard as a part-time faculty member in periodontology, and she worked as an assistant professor at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She is also serving on the American Board of Periodontology as a diplomate and is an Academic Fellow of the American Academy of Oral Medicine.
During her time as an assistant professor at Tufts, Dr. Singh completed extensive research in the Division of Oral Medicine and Dental Research. She has even worked on research funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Dr. Singh has written about and lectured on drug therapies for treating patients with salivary hypofunction and Sjögren’s syndrome. Her work on Sjögren’s syndrome has also been published in several books and academic journals. Dr. Singh is also a reviewer of two journals, the Journal of Periodontology and the Journal of Dental Education.

In addition to her many international accolades and accomplishments, Dr. Singh is very involved in her local community. She has given her time and knowledge to underprivileged communities in Boston as well as in India. Dr. Singh also serves as a mentor to students seeking to pursue a dental career.
Dr. Alan Tang
Dr. Alan Tang received his Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology from University of California, San Diego and his doctorate of Dental Surgery from UCLA, School of Dentistry.
Dr. Tang went on to receive the certificate of Endodontic specialty training at the Boston University of Graduate Dentistry. He also received a Master of Science degree for his research in bone engineering. He has published numerous articles in various journals and has received several grants and a fellowship for his research. Dr. Tang has been practicing in the field of dentistry since 2005. He is passionate about changing patients’ perception of the root canal procedure by making the procedure comfortable, painless, and quick.
Dr. Tang is a member of the American Association of Endodontics, the American Dental Association, and the Massachusetts Dental Society. When not in the office, Dr. Tang enjoys tennis, jogging, reading, and spending quality time with his two young daughters.
